UI Concept and Customization Options

All our plugins are developed with a focus on clean, high-quality layouts that combine functional efficiency with a premium aesthetic. Each interface is crafted with custom-designed assets, tailored for intuitive use and a visually compelling experience. Our plugin’s are divided into Core, Enhanced, and Advanced tiers, which divide each plugin we offer for development, by functionality and complexity. Each 

of these plugin’s across each of these tiers, are built with high-end UI assets that seamlessly compliment each plugin’s specific capabilities and enable each plugin to be a visually distinguished plugin. 

Premium Visual Assets for a Professional Finish

Each plugin tier has a base price that covers the development of fundamental features and high-quality audio processing logic. To increase the visual impact, we recommend a range of premium, high-end UI assets, available at an additional fee based on the desired level of customization and aesthetic quality you require. These assets ensure that your plugin achieves a polished, professional look that sets it apart. 

How the Process Works

1. Initial Planning and Design Collaboration 

In the planning stage, we will work closely with you to define the plugin’s functionality and visual layout. This includes: 

 

Feature Layout: 

Arranging all controls, parameters, labels, value displays, and icons within the dimensions of the plugin’s window. 

 

Color Scheme and Branding: 

Establishing colors, font styles, and any brand-related visual elements. 

 

Premium Asset Selection:

Presenting a curated selection of premium audio plugin templates and assets from which to choose, ensuring the final design aligns with your aesthetic vision. 

2. Design Options for UI Development 

We offer two flexible approaches to establishing the right UI design:  

 

Option 1: Defer to us for Initial Design Concepts 

If you are open to our expertise, we will create an initial layout draft that effectively showcases the plugin’s functionality and aesthetic. 

We will share this with you for feedback and adjust as needed to 

meet your vision. 

 

Option 2: Provide Your Existing Design Concepts 

If you already have a vision or rough design in mind, share your materials with us (e.g. sketches, references, or specific assets). 

We will interpret your input into a refined draft, which you can review and refine to ensure the design aligns with your expectations.

 

Your Choice:

In both cases, we will work with you collaboratively, refining the design until it fully embodies your preferences. Once finalized and approved, we will then proceed with developing the plugin using the selected assets and agreed-upon UI structure.

Finalizing Costs

Once the UI assets are chosen and design is established, we will add the aesthetic fee to the base plugin price, providing a complete quote for the project. This approach ensures transparency and ensures you receive a product that meets both functional and visual standards. 


If licensed assets are already owned, these can be used instead, where a lesser additional fee is applied to the base development cost, to cover the implementation and optimization using these custom assets.

Base UI Expectations and Customization Options

Controls: 

 

Expectations: Each parameter will have a corresponding visual control (slider or rotary knob) for easy adjustment, designed with your choice of premium custom graphics.  

Labels: 

 

Expectations: Simple, readable text labels will display parameter names (e.g. “Reverb Time,” “Mix”) for each control.

Value Display (Opt): 

 

Expectations: Displays that show real-time parameter values can be included beside each control for precise adjustments, with numbers or percentage values as applicable. 

Customization: Customers may request alternative styles (e.g. rotary knobs vs sliders) or specify a custom color scheme for controls if desired. 

Customization: Customers may select preferred feature naming, font styles, and colors for the labels or allow the developer to set default options for optimal readability. 

Customization: This feature is optional and can be specified in terms of size and placement by the customer, or omitted to keep the interface simpler. 

Background: 

 

Expectations: Your choice of UI assets and template, from the curated list we present to you, will include a high quality background. 

Layout: 

 

Expectations: Controls are logically placed by parameter values (e.g. low-to-high frequency or gain) and layout (horizontal or vertical). This is based on feature count, and is considered during planning.

Custom Graphics (Opt):  

 

Expectations: Additional assets, e.g. icons 

or non-functional graphics that do not support a plugins feature, are excluded unless specified. 

Customization: An alternative background, designed using such methods as gradients, specific colors, subtle textures, or background asset, can be requested for implementation.

Customization: Customers may specify preferences for control grouping, arrangement (horizontal or vertical), or a logical order that suits their workflow, or defer to the developers expertise.

Customization: Licensed assets already owned, can be implemented instead, with an additional cost only for integration and optimization. No need to select from the curated premium asset list in this scenario.
